Zeb Hicks is the Lead Pastor at FBCH and seeks to glorify God in reaching the next generation with the hope of the Gospel. Zeb holds to a high view of God’s Word and believes it is the truth unto salvation for all who believe and repent. Zeb has been preaching since he was 19 years old and has served in several roles in the churches he has attended including Worship Leader, Youth Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Guest Speaking duties.

Zeb has been involved with youth ministry for 10+ years by serving as a volunteer youth leader in both Stuart and Carroll counties and as intern and codirector of a Christian summer camp. Throughout his time in these ministries, he developed a strong desire to know Christ more fully through His Word and in service to Him. While serving in ministry, Zeb also earned a bachelor’s in biblical and theological studies through Liberty University and seeks to continue his education and growth in the future. Zeb and his family were joyfully called to join the FBCH family in May of 2023.

In his day-to-day life, Zeb loves to spend time outside enjoying nature and sharing time with his friends and family. He is a bad golfer, dad joke teller, avid sports fan, and musician. However, his favorite thing to do is spend time with his beautiful wife Amber and daughters Mae Lee and Sadie.
