To know wisdom and instruction,
To discern the sayings of understanding,
To receive instruction in wise behavior,
Righteousness, justice, and integrity;
To give prudence to the naive,
To the youth knowledge and discretion,
A wise person will hear and increase in learning,
And a person of understanding will acquire wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and a saying,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1:2-7)
Our Middle School and High School youth meet on Sunday evenings for a time of fun, fellowship, and Bible study. We often play a game, we love to sing songs, and we’ll look at what the Bible has to say about the things our youth confront in the world around them today. Our goal is to teach biblical foundations to help our youth learn to navigate the world in a God-honoring, life-affirming, and loving way, and our adult leadership is there to provide support, wisdom, and encouragement along the journey.
Our Youth also have opportunities throughout the year to participate in various camps, missions, and service activities to develop as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We also meet Sunday mornings for study and fellowship, and once a month our leaders cook and serve breakfast as well!
(Most Youth activities are currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions. They are tentatively scheduled to restart in the spring of 2021.)
